You are the only one who can understand yourself more than others. So work on yourself. Those who lack confidence may feel the deficiency is so in-grained as to surely be innate. In fact, confidence is something most of us are born with, before life steals it from us.

You can recover the confidence you lost, or thought you never had. Not everybody is extroverted....and introversion does NOT mean you are under confident.  Some people just don't like talking so damn much.

Some people don't like other people,  may be only like a few. Some people don't have patience for small talk...or listening to people talk about themselves, which is every body favorite subject.

Meanwhile this video just tells somebody how to pretend to be confident. people can read right through that pretty easily after you hit the age of 30. And actually it annoys people. stop believing that you lack confidence . make sure you do the visualizations right. Is it possible to become confident never say you are not confident.

What you think of your selves is much more important than what others think of you.

We should never underestimate our strengths and should never over estimate our weakness.

Confidence is contagious. It is the best outfit. The most beautiful thing every one should wear is confidence.

We our selves have to create confidence in us by believing on our selves. It does not come when we have all answers but it comes when we are ready to face the questions. Calm and silent mind brings self confidence.

Self confidence is the most valuable quality every one must have. Beauty is not always having a beautiful face but having good heart and most importantly confidence. We have to accept our past without regret and handle our present with confidence.

Confident people listen more than they speak because they don’t feel as though they have anything to prove. Confident people know that by actively listening and paying attention to others, they are much more likely to learn and grow.

How to be confident
1 Don’t judge and berate yourself if you display overconfidence once in a while. Judgement compounds whatever it judges.
2 Self-confidence comes from within. No amount of outside approval or validation can make us confident from inside.
3 Be honest about yourself and your feelings. When you acknowledge your feelings, you honour yourself.
4 If you feel negative about yourself, examine your self-concepts and deep-rooted beliefs. Most of your concepts and beliefs come from your early childhood experiences. Re-programme yourself.
5 Forgive yourself. You are human and you can make mistakes, but mistakes do not define you.
6 The only thing wrong with you is the thought that something is wrong with you. Instead of trying to fix yourself, confidently reveal yourself.
7 Be kind and compassionate to yourself. “You yourself as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection,” according to the Buddha.
The more you love and value yourself, the more you will discover your power, and experience true confidence.
8 Start believing in yourself because if you don't do that, how can you expect the world to believe in you?
9 Congratulate yourself for doing your best, pat your back, love and accept yourself completely.

10 Remember that you have a free will to change, grow, evolve, transform, blossom and bloom. The power of choice always remains with you.

The foundation of success is confidence.
 overconfidence
The overconfidence effect is a well-established bias in which a person's subjective confidence in his or her judgments is reliably greater than the objective accuracy of those judgments, especially when confidence is relatively high. Overconfidence is one example of a mis calibration of subjective probabilities. Throughout the research literature, overconfidence has been
defined in three distinct ways:
(1) overestimation of one's actual performance
 (2) over placement of one's performance relative to others
(3) over precision in expressing unwarranted certainty in the accuracy of one's beliefs.
The most common way in which overconfidence has been studied is by asking people how confident they are of specific beliefs they hold or answers they provide.

Overconfident people
1 Overconfident people are usually loud and noisy.
2 They speak loudly and forcefully to prove their point.
3 They always seek validation from outside.
4 Even after receiving the approval from others, they experience emptiness inside them.
5 They do not feel fully satisfied with life and usually remain unhappy.
6 People display overconfidence because they do not feel good about themselves.
7 They display bravado to compensate for feelings of inferiority.
8 They like to make fun of others.
9 They cannot, however, take a joke about themselves in the right spirit.
10 Others can sense the self doubt that lurks behind the over-confident persona.

Genuine confidence has nothing to do with pride and arrogance. It is just an honest acknowledgment of our innate capabilities.
