problem solving is the set of activities designed to analyze a situation and then find , implement and evaluate solutions.

Decision making is making choice at each step of the problem solving process.

Problem solving does not just require analytical, creative and critical skills, but a particular mindset: those who can approach a problem with a cool and level head will often reach a solution more efficiently than those who cannot. This is a soft skill which can often rely on strong teamwork too. Problems need not always be solved alone. The ability to know who can help you reach a solution, and how they can do it, can be a great advantage.

There are few barriers to problem solving

1. Recognize the problem as soon as possible and try to work on it. You should never be as if you are  not sure what the problem is . once you recognize the problem you can think of the ways to solve the problem.

2. Don’t Concave  the problem too narrowly . be concise of what is happening. What the situation is. dont go for making a hasty choice. Know what you want.

3. Failing  to consider all consequences .

4. Failing to consider the feasibility of the solution.

5. Failing to communicate what is possible to do to solve the problem

6.  Failing to know and analyses what you did and what is responsible for the success.

7. Team attitudes like complacency, ridiculing others ideas , lack of accountability, dysfunctions, fear of changes, not able accept change in work or in your life, lack of trust , on you and others, lack of confidence.

8. Afried to be judged based on your skills. not sure of your skills.
